MERCEDES CONFIRMS HYPERCAR IN WORKS

Mercedes confirmed making of a hypercar which will have powertrain in its Formula One race, on the eve of the Paris Motor Show 2016.
Tobias Moers said that a they will put new benchmark. Tobias is head of AMG which is making the car partnership with F1 engineers. Production will start in about 2 years.

This limited edition car suppose to have mid-engine two-seater based on a short draft flashed on screen at media event. Moers said that hypercar have chassis and body of carbon fiber.
Power needs to remotely decrease from the 1.6-liter V-6 hybrid now in F1 car. On the other side, horsepower will go beyond 1,000.

Ola Kallenis, board member, said that they will develop technology and will put it  into a road car. This will be most expensive and spectacular AMG even if it would be a daily driver.
More details will be released 2017, said Daimler chief Dieter Zetche.

Board member, Thomas Weber, said that the automaker commitment to electrified vehicles is clear from a hybrid hypercar.
