LEXUS UX CONCEPT REVEALED AHEAD OF ITS PARIS FIRST SHOW UP
Lexus UX concept will have its first show up at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and that seem to be a crossover intended to slot below the NX.
After a leaked photo that appeared today on many websites, Lexus had to announce today its show up. Lexus’s European Design Center wrote the UX concept, which displays edgy style that the automaker infuses throught much of its lineup. Concept dominates with sharp edges, also with its fenders, taillights and C-pillar. Door handle that seem to section the front and rear doors, and the strips of LEDs used for the third brake light placed high on the rear spoiler are other important abilities. The UX concept should make it to production and it’ll likely ride on the Toyota New Global Architecture, which first showed up on the fourth-gen Prius and will support the Toyota C-HR small crossover that is coming. So the powertrain choises need to include a hybrid system and a conventional gas engine.
Rumors say that the UX will replace the CT 200h hatchback
It is rumored that the UX will probably replace the CT 200h hatchback, which is close to the end of its life cycle. Sales of the CT are going down , which is not the case for Lexus crossovers that involve the NX and RX. That makes the case more solid for adding the UX to the brand’s lineup where it will be in competition with other luxury smaller crossovers like the Audi Q2, Mercedes-Benz GLA and BMW X1.
