Hispania Rally Day 2- Pedrero leads the classification after a navigation mistake in the first special
Joan Pedrero has won day 2 against a Villarubia that has not stopped fighting
until the end of the day. In quads, Dani Vilà continues to be the leader and in SSV, the
French driver Jean Claude Pla. The third stage of more than 300 km. will be
tougher than the first ones because of river crossing and difficult tulips.
- Joan Pedrero takes day two of Hispania
- Villarrubia has won the first special of the day and Pedrero made a navigation mistake
- Tomorrow’s stage will take close to 300 km
Julián Villarrubia has made a spectacular first special getting the first place. A great
riding challenge for the Spanish because he was the first rider to open the track
and had no reference of other competitors. On the other hand, the winner of the
day, Joan Pedrero, has made navigation mistakes that he corrected in the second
special of the day.
The second special, with more than 130 kilometers, made the difference among all
participants. Pedrero has made a perfect special and is the leader of the rally with
Villarrubia in second place. Third, a regular Mario Patrao continues. In quads and
SSV the classification remains unchanged with Dani Vilà and Jean Claude Pla, in the
lead.
Day three of Hispania will be, again, a long stage. 298 kilometers with two specials
of 73 and 129 kilometers. Another amazing day with a difficult navigation due to
the double boxes and the conditions of the terrain with water crossings.
