The Royal wedding car that Prince Harry and Meghan left Windsor Castle in Jaguar Classic’s all-electric E-type. Jaguars all production vehicles will be electric by 2020.
The royal wedding car driven away from Windsor was Jaguar Classic’s electric ‘E-type Zero‘
The E-type Zero is based on a 1968 Series E-type, which at some point in its life had been fitted with an American V8 engine.
The E-type sports car, which Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari famously called “the most beautiful car in the world”, was originally manufactured in 1968 and has since been converted to electric power, complete with LED head lamps.

Prince Harry drove it away from Windsor Castle for an evening reception at nearby Frogmore House.
The £350,000 electric version even came with a bespoke number plate, which bore the date of the royal nuptials.
Last year, Jaguar launched the Concept Zero service to restore and convert existing E-Types to electric power. -driving.co.uk
The environmentally-friendly convertible has a top speed of 150mph and can reach 60mph from standstill in just 5.5 seconds, thanks to a 220kW electric motor.

- Performance improves upon the original 246bhp model, with a 0-60mph time of 5.5 seconds, a second faster.
