Here comes special edition Audi R8 V10 Plus with laser headlights
2014 we saw that Audi presented the special edition of R8 LMX. The vehicle accentuated laser lights for its high rays but they never offered it in the United States.
Audi has now uncovered another R8 special edition. This edition has laser lights and this one has been made for our market.
They named it the R8 V10 Plus Exclusive Edition. It can easily be spotted by its Quantum Gray outside with yellow accents. They will make just 25 and once more time the lasers will only be for the high beams. The low beams and daytime running lights will be LEDs.
When we compare it to LEDs, laser lights have a higher intensity. Also a lower energy usage and a more defined light track. They can lighten the road for 600 meters ahead or about twice of the range of LEDs. An identifying characteristic is their blue light signature in the headlight housing.
Beyond the laser lights, the R8 V10 Plus Exclusive Edition comes with carbon fiber seats, carbon-ceramic brakes, and carbon fiber aero elements including a fixed rear wing. The wheels are a 20-inch made with an anthracite finish.
This vehicle also use from a ton of goodies from the Audi Exclusive department for personalization. The list involves leather trim, door sills with a “one of 25” script, an Alcantara-lined trunk a quilted Alcantara headliner, and an “R8” logo light beam for the doors.
