Chevrolet took the conservative path ahead of the 2016 SEMA show, unlike Hyundai and its wild race-prepped machines. The Blue Line Concepts are the result of that route, and Chevy has a pair of cars having some tasteful developments with a small amount of performance  boosts thrown into the mix.

A Cruze Hatch RS will be available in Las Vegas, and the Genesis White paint on the body looks amazing. I’m not sold on the Slate Blue Metallic colored wheels, but it surely helps work in the Blue Line called scheme. The Cruze also has a chrome grille, which seems black.

The pertinent bits here envelop the lowered suspension kit a new intake and exhaust system and performance brake boost. All of the visible parts on the car—and those unvisible like the interiour and exhaust system and the suspension—are on hand either right now or by the middle of 2017.

With the Malibu Blue Line Concept, Chevrolet didn’t make much of performance enhancements. This time they worked more on upgraded look. That Genesis White paintwork has again the blue wheels, . Also the Malibu gets blacked-out grille insert and bow-tie badging, a rear diffuser, illuminated doorsills and a rear spoiler.

The Malibu also, like the Cruze Hatch, has a lowered suspension setup and the boosted brakes. There’s no suction and exhaust on this one.
