2018 Ford is offering TV live stream
Ford is doing it more simple than ever to watch TV live from the convenience of your car. With the help of SlingPlayer, the totally new 2018 Ford Expedition can stream TV shows and live sporting events during the drive.
It has system called EVO that contains two 8-inch monitors in the back of the front-seat headrests, a wifi hotspot, and an industry-first SlingPlayer that lets users to connect to a home cable or satellite system and watch live TV.

SlingPlayer software is built-in into the EVO system. It lets people in car to connect to their Slingbox system at home and control their cable or satellite TV. People can also use the DVD player, HDMI port, USB, or the SD card reader to view additional content. Additionally, streaming video can be sent to the display screens via the system’s SmartStream app on compatible iOS or Android devices.
The available Wi-Fi hotspot can support even 10 devices at a time and it’s not limited to the car since it has a range of ueven to 50 feet. The system has two wifi headsets, but it can also send sound through the car’s audio system.
As one more proof of the popularity of streaming music, car producer is removing the CD player in the subcompact 2018 Ford EcoSport crossover that is coming. This will make room for a better touchscreen and more storage space for smartphones. Ford thinks that the young EcoSport customers will rather want sourcing music through the available Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM radio, and SYNC Connect that using a CD player.
