The Nissan GT-R Nismo is powerful machine with no doubts. Just, that power is now more pricy than before. The Nissan GT-R Nismo’s price jumped for $25,000 over last year’s model, including destination, which means it now costs $176,585.

No, that’s not an error. This year Nissan GT-R Nismo carries an MSRP of $151,585. The 2017 GT-R Nismo benefits from the same changes as the standard 2017 GT-R, which means its recieving an $8,220 bump from the last year, as we said before. Changes include Nissan’s corporate V-motion grille, reduced the number of center-stack buttons from 27 to 11, bigger 8-inch touchscreen and more revised interior with improved materials. The shocks, springs, and stabilizers are retuned to correspond with the 2017 model’s stiffer body structure.

Nissan says the GT-R NISMO will be offered in four exterior colors—Super Silver, Solid Red, Jet Black, and Pearl White.

Standard GT-R had more power for 2017

Standard GT-R had more power for 2017, but Nismo continues to pack 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque from its  twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-6.The GT-R will also get a Nismo-designed alcantara steering wheel, exclusive leather-upholstered recaro seats, a carbon fiber rear spoiler and red-accented carbon fiber ground effects.

New price makes GT-R Nismo almost equal to its closest competitor, the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The Porsche 911 Turbo S price begins from $189,150. On the other side, Godzilla is still a performance trifle, but less than last year. The 2017 Nissan GT-R is on sale now.
